Fishing license
You must hold a valid fishing permit to fish for freshwater fish on lakes and rivers.
There are no national or regional permits in Sweden, but you must buy a local permit valid at the time of fishing for each area. Licenses are usually one-day, three-day, weekly or year-round. The number of issued licenses may be limited for some districts, some licenses must be ordered well in advance.
