Fully equipped apartment including a boat on the beautiful fishing island of Skrova – an island in the middle of fish

Accommodations

The apartment has 3 bedrooms (6 single beds in total), fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining room with dining table and couch, Smart TV, Wifi / Lan.

A balcony, Weber gas grill, smokehouse and volume freezer for fish (500l) are exclusively available to guests. The apartment is on the top floor, with its own entrance.

Free parking spaces are available 2 minutes from the house.

The distance to the ferry terminal is 5 minutes, as well as a supermarket.

Boat

19″ aluminum Kværnø boat, suitable for up to 4 people, is equipped with a Yamaha EFI 4T-60 HP engine, Garmin Echomap PLUS 62 CV with BlueChart g3 Vision map, AIS, MOBdevice, 50 liter tank, including comprehensive insurance.

The second boat can be rented at a external company.

Fuel is not included in the price.

The vessel’s position can be tracked at any time during traffic on Marinetraffic.com.

Fishing season

The fishing season begins in early March with the arrival of the cod.

• Mid-February – Easter: cod
• May – July: atlantic wolffish
• Mid-June – September: cod (keller)
• March – September: haddock
• All year round: cod, brosme, halibut

(The package includes accommodation, boat and use of the filleting room in the building. This offers a complete processing line from filleting to packaging and freezing.)

Registration

Registration with the Norwegian Fiskeridirektoratet under org.#822155022. This means that each can export 18 kg of fillets (from 2022). A condition for this is the daily documentation of catches according to specifications – very simply via the website.

Transport

By air / own vehicle

By air

The best way to get to Svolvär Airport (SVJ) is by plane. Harstad / Narvik (EVE) or Bodö (BOO) airports offer alternatives. From Harstadt / Narvik and Svolvär there is an option of transportation to and from the airport at an additional cost.

There is a hurtigboat from Bodö directly to Skrova, which can be booked through the company “Boreal” and only carries passengers.

By car

In summer you can travel by car via Skutvik with the ferry. The ferry from Bodö to Moskenes also offers an alternative. In low season, the connection from Bognes to Lödingen can also be used by ferry. When arriving via Sweden, you can also reach Svolvär via Kiruna and Narvik. Google Maps is a good choice for route planning, for example here.
