If you choose one of the 4 cabins in Hugsnäset for your next expedition, you can decide whether to go fishing on Lake Revsundsjön or take a fly-fishing trip to the popular areas of Gimån and Herrevadsströmmen.

Depending on the season, the owners will gladly offer you many other activities that the area provides, such as canoeing, horseback riding, golf with mountains in the background, ice fishing, reindeer sledding, and more. It’s up to you to decide how to combine them.

The place is a true Swedish paradise that will allow you to have a well-deserved rest.

Accommodation

Sjöstugan (3 pers.)

At the cottage by the lake, you can step right onto the fishing boat! Or take a morning bath just steps away from the breakfast table. The morning sun beckons for swimming and fishing.

The capacity of the Sjöstugan cottage is 3+1 persons. Sleeping loft with single bed + sofa bed in living room

The cottage has a ground floor with a kitchen and a living room, wood-burning stove, and a TV. There is also a shower, toilet, and a small sauna. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, microwave, stove, and oven.

Bagarstugan (5 pers.)

This beautiful house, The Baker’s Cottage, is still used as a bakery but is an ideal place for those who want to enjoy farm life and perhaps try baking bread over an open fire.

The capacity of the Bagarsugan cottage is 5 people.

Bagarstugan is fully equipped. You’ll find a bedroom with a bunk bed on the lower level and a shorter bed in the kitchen. In the attic bedroom, there is a double bed and a single bed. The living room has sofas and a TV. It includes a refrigerator with a freezer, coffee maker, microwave, stove, and a wood-burning stove. There is also a toilet, shower, and a washing machine. The cottage can accommodate up to 5 people.

Flottarstugan (6 pers.)

The cottage is located right on the edge of the area right next to the forest, but near the lake with its own garden and parking lot.

The capacity of the Flottarstugan cottage is 6 people.

Spacious single-story cottage with a beautiful view of the farm and the lake. A large living room with a wood-burning stove provides ample space for multiple people. Two bedrooms with bunk beds and one bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and a stove with an oven. There is a bathroom with a toilet, shower, and a washing machine. A large private lawn is available for summer activities, and there is private parking space.

Innersta friden (4 pers.)

Newly built cottage with an exceptional location right on the edge of Revsundsjön.

The capacity of the Innersta friden cottage is 4+1 persons. Large cottage with sofa bed and 2 sleeping levels with 2 double beds.

Spacious bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine. The equipment includes a large wood-burning sauna with direct access to the balcony and a view of the lake. The wood-burning hot tub is right next to the cabin.

FISHING:

A 3.5-4.5 m long rowing boas and life jackets are included in the price of each of the cottages during the entire stay. Upon arrival, you can choose the one that meets your preferences.

Fishing license for Lake Revsundsjön – Bräcke kommun area
Fishing license for the surrounding lake – Grimnäs och Landsomfjärden

If you decide to fish on the lake, you will have a good chance of catching local pike and perch.

If you’re a fly fishing enthusiast, whitefish and trout will be among your catches.

RULES:

A fishing license is valid for rod – spinning, fly fishing and ice fishing.
The card is non-transferable.
Minimum size of trout, brook trout, grayling 35 cm.
Youth under 18 can fish for free.
Maximum 2 rods / fishing license. A maximum of 8 rods/card/boat applies for trolling. Maximum 5 fish/card/day (trout, brook trout. grayling)
Crayfish fishing bans apply in all three fishing areas

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Only in the summer months is it possible to book the cottage for whole weeks. Exchange day is Sunday.
Transport – In the case of air transport, you will find the nearest airport in Östersund. The train stops in Östersund, Gällö and Bräcke. The easiest and most convenient way is to use your own car. You can also easily get to the shops and all activities and attractions with it.
