DESCRIPTION

Bakkan Wahl is a registered campsite with the possibility of exporting 20kg fillets per person.
This location is located 120km NW of Trondheim on the Fossen peninsula. A 15% deposit is paid at the time of booking and the remaining 85% is paid on site at NOK.

The house is equipped with a bathroom with washing machine, kitchen with electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, complete equipment, living room TV / SAT, dining room and two bedrooms. Possibility of free WIFI internet connection.

In the marina, the house has another freezer (600l), a cloakroom and dryer for shoes and jackets, a fillet room.

The owner Benn has excellent gasoline boats for you with an output of 30–50Hp / 5.5m and an echo sounder.
It also offers for rent one fishing cutter, with which you can fish even in very bad weather.
We will advise you on hot places where you can catch up well.

Fishing

Fishing technique:
In spring / March, April / it is mostly pilking at depths of 60-80m. A very common catch is the 100-120cm atlantic cod. In addition, your common catch will be leng burbot, brosma burbot, halibut and haddock. In the summer it is more spinning, but it is also possible to pilk. Fishing for cod – keller, pollack, cod and mackerel.

Boats

Harbor is only 80 m from the cottage. There are two boats: 2 × 40Hp Honda with echo sounder, electric start and steering wheel.
Your boat is equipped with a sea echo sounder and Garmin GPS navigation. Three fishermen catch fish in these boats.
There is also a fishing cutter, which can be rented for 200 EUR per stay.
Alu Boat Kverno 6m / 50Hp four-stroke with a GPS marine plotter and a Garmin echo sounder is ready for demanding anglers. This boat can be rented for a fee of 300, – NOK / 1 day.

Nautical map

The strategic position of Bakkan is clearly visible on the map. The port is oriented to the open sea and in case of bad weather you can fish in the fjord. Good places are between the last promontory of the peninsula and the lighthouse. In summer, it is fished on the island of Mellstain.

Guided fishing
It is possible to arrange a trip with a fishing guide on the Shark cutter for a maximum of 4 people. 10,- EUR / person + fuel is paid.

Mushroomers’ paradise
The mushroom season culminates here around August 15. This period is suitable for family holidays with small children. The weather is usually stable with temperatures around 20 degrees.
