This pristine lake is the largest in the Algoma district with an area of over 30,000 acres.

Windy Point Lodge also offers flights every day of the week as part of the American & Housekeeping package.

Accommodations:

9 private chats of different sizes.

Cottage equipment: toilet, shower, refrigerator, stove with oven, drinking water, electricity, hot / cold water, free wi-fi, satellite TV, telephone, mattress, sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, soap, napkins

The kitchens are well equipped with plates, glasses, pots, pans, cups, toaster, outdoor grills.

All cottages have a beautiful view of the lake.

The largest 4-bedroom cottage can accommodate up to 10 people! Furthermore, a cottage with three bedrooms, and the others have 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people.

Fishing:

Enjoy fishing from an 18-meter aluminum boat equipped with a new 20-horsepower Yamaha four-stroke engine with electric starting, unlimited fuel, fish finder, padded swivel seats, rubber landing net, life jackets and safety equipment. Or you can catch right from the dock. It is possible to bring pets and children (children’s rates). The main cottage offers free wi-fi, satellite TV and a telephone.

Caught fish:

Walleye – most caught in the summer months, can be caught directly in the docks. Small spinners, spoons, crawler-harnesses, jigs and minnow type lures are best.

Northern Pike – an excellent game fish that can exceed 20lbs.; they’re most often caught around the weed beds and inlets. Spoons and spinners are considered the best lure type.

Perch – average size ranging from 9″ to 14″, perch are plentiful. The current largest perch is 18″. Worms and minnow-type lures will help you land this delicious species.

WhiteFish – best caught drift-fishing with worms, these delicious fish can be challenging to land because of their tiny, paper-thin mouths.
