About the pond
Propast is a pond located in the cadastre of the village of Hradec in the Praha-východ district on the Jevanské stream. The road connecting the villages on the Jevanské potok passes along its dam. Water can flow into the pond from the Jevanské stream, and it can flow back into it through the sluice and overflow, but currently the water surface is replenished by the lower springs.
On the banks of the pond there is a forest and recreational facilities, on the west side near the bus stop there is a restaurant “Na Propasti”.
The Propast pond has:
an area of almost 10 hectares
a square shape with a side length of about 307 m and one island
28 fishing spots available for two anglers (56 individuals)
depth in the range of 1m to 6m
bottom clean, sometimes even sandy
The area is richly stocked with all kinds of fish and its crew will satisfy followers of almost all fishing techniques.
Carp in the size of 3-20 kg, but also zander, pike, grass carp, perch and tench are abundantly represented.
It is possible to agree with the administrator on the purchase of caught market carp, according to the measure (only carp).
Possibility to rent fishing kayaks!
Reservation
The area is being built quickly, other services are being prepared, but even for the end of the 2022 season, you can buy a permit and start fishing!
How to book?
For the 2022 season, the permit can only be reserved by phone or email!
In the 2023 season, the reservation of individual places (spots) will be online.
The reservation is valid after payment of 20% of the amount for the permit according to the valid price list in advance. The rest of the amount is to be paid at the pond when the fishing permit is issued.
Reservations can also be made in person directly at the pond.
