Fishing in Slovenia – Soča river
Bed & brekfast (Bed and breakfast)
Half board
In recent years, fly fishing has become extremely popular both in Slovenia and for foreign guests. It is a unique experience where you can enjoy fishing in the middle of untouched nature and try to catch the so-called queen of fish – marble trout – a century-old fishing technique.
The farm is located in the center of the fishing area, just 500 m from the river Soča, so you have at your fingertips exceptional points suitable for fly fishing.
The river Soča is sometimes up to 30 meters wide, in some places it can be crossed in a ly fishing waders. Soča and other rivers are usually about 5 meters wide, small rivers about 3 m. Even on small rivers, there are pools over 2 m deep. Be careful when wading! The valley of the river Soča around the town of Tolmin is undoubtedly one of the most attractive alpine districts.
Only fly fishing is allowed, a maximum of 1 fly may be on one rod and on a hook without a barb!
The district is divided into two zones, with zone 2 fishing only with the “catch and release” method. You can buy fishing permits directly here.
Transport
