Titran, an idyllic fishing village with strong traditions and a vibrant culture

Titran on the island of Frøya is one of the largest and oldest fishing villages in Central Norway with a history dating back to the Viking Age.

Titran is located at the most south-western point of Frøya, with a short distance from good fishing spots (about 5 minutes).

The area around Titran has a large archipelago and waters with a small underwater reef.

An idyllic stay close to nature

The facility consists of two houses with a total of 7 apartments, built in the old traditional style of wood.

Apartments

Rental on a weekly basis with the possibility of renting a boat.

Apartments 1-6 are approx. 70m² on two floors

Apartment 7 is 90 m2 with everything on one floor

1st floor includes:

• Bathroom with shower and toilet
• Storage room with freezer 300 l
• Living room with a well-equipped kitchenette
• Satellite TV
• Dining room, sitting area

2nd floor includes:

• 3 bedrooms with beds for 6 people.

*Washing machine and dryer in common room.

Fishing on the Titran

From there it is only a few minutes by boat to the absolute top in the region. Here you can quickly reach Ørnklakken, Brannsbakken, Håkaskallen and many other special places by first-class boats.

• Kvaernø

This is one of the latest additions to Kværnø Boats, a simple and compact all-round boat with a new design, sporty lines and several innovative solutions. The boat has a bench with 2 chairs at the back and a double console with an integrated sitting box at the front.

The boats have a 100 hp Yamaha outboard, a Garmin chart plotter with a 9 inch screen, sounder and AIS for extra safety.

Filetting room

A nice place that will take care of a day’s catch.

Hot and cold water, cutting board, knives, scale and apron.

Gas

You can fill up with gas from a private gas station 50 meters from the marina with your own card 24/7.

The pump delivers 40 l/min and payment is made as at a regular gas station with your own debit or credit card.

Note:

If diving is your hobby – Frøya is known as one of the best places to dive for scallops.

Apartment 1-6 (6 persons): NOK 14,910 / week (including bed linen, towels and final cleaning upon departure).

Apartment 7 (6 persons): NOK 15,750 / week (including bed linen, towels and final cleaning upon departure).
