Sula Fishing Camp is located on the coast of Trøndelag, where civilization ends and the Norwegian Sea begins.
Sula is a traditional fishing village with a history dating back to the 13th century. Fishermen from all over Trøndelag and the Møre coast came to Sula to take part in the rich fishing.
It is not far from the campsite to the fishing spots. There are many species of fish in the sea, with the main emphasis on cod, haddock, halibut and flounder.
The house by the sea includes a filleting room, a large freezer and a clothes dryer. There is also outdoor filleting on the shore and there is a direct entrance to the floating jetty.

Boat rental
The boats are rented with sonar, GPS and AIS and are equipped with a safety package that includes a first aid kit, 5 liter petrol tanks and life jackets.
The rental period is from 09.00 to 21.00 for one day, or you can rent it for the whole week.
When not in use, boats must be docked at the “rorbuer”.
Life jackets are free to rent and everyone must use them during the boat trip.
People born after 1980 must have a driver’s license or other valid proof that you can drive such boats.

Food
Restaurant
A charming modern restaurant with a capacity for 60 guests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for groups of 10 to 60 people. Must be requested in advance.
Local seafood, mussels and other fish dishes – according to the daily menu. Although fish dishes are a specialty, wild meat dishes are also served.
Fireplace lounge
The beautiful fireplace room is located in the main building by reception and is open daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Coffee, tea and other beverages of your choice, cakes, waffles and toast are served here. Simple but tasty dishes such as the famous bacalao stew, fish soup, pizza and fish & chips are also options on the menu.
An outdoor terrace where you can enjoy your meal with a harmonious view of the sea bay of Sula. That will depend on the weather.

Pub
A unique pub by the sea captures the essence of Norwegian fishermen. If you are a lover of rustic style, this is the place to enjoy a delicious seafood meal or a drink right by the sea with a fascinating view of the beautiful fishing village and the sea bay of Sula.
Transport
You can travel here by plane to Trondheim Værnes Airport via Oslo and by bus to Trondheim. From there you can rent a car and drive to Sula.
