A coastal gem at the southern tip of Norway, west of Lindesnes. The harbor has about 100 permanent residents, a rich history of deep-sea fishing, and is one of the oldest fishing villages in southern Norway. For your adventure, we can rent you a boat, sea kayak, and SUP board. Village has its own convenience store with excellent services and a charming pub, which is open in the summer or by request.
Fishing
The location is equipped with everything you will need during your stay. All guests have access to changing rooms, equipment and clothing drying facilities, a freezer, and upon departure, they will receive a stamped catch report.
Given the rich history of fishing in this location, you will receive on-site advice on how to catch the best catches. For your trip, you can choose from one of these boats, which are equipped with sonar and vests:
- 16,5 feet, 15/25 hp: 600 NOK per day
- 18 feet 30/40 hp: 800 NOK per day
- 19 feet, 50 hp: 1.000 NOK per day
- Full tank: 575 NOK
Persons born on or after January 1, 1980, who intend to operate a recreational boat longer than 8 meters (26.2 feet) or with an engine power greater than 25 HP, must have a license. Boats up to 8 meters and with smaller engines can be safely operated without a license if you are 16 years old or older.
Accommodation
The accommodation offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. All units have a terrace with a sea view, a kitchen with a refrigerator and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a shower. An oven, microwave, stove, coffee machine, and electric kettle are also available. There is also a grill available on site.
