Sea fishing in Lofoten

The fishing camp is optimally located for Lofoten fishing, with a short distance from outside and inside (North and South sides).

To experience the perfect fishing experience in Lofoten, it is important that you know the best fishing spots in the area. The camp operators know the Lofoten Sea well and the best places for cod, flounder, halibut etc. You will of course receive this information at the camp.

Accommodation

5 km from the airport in Leknes, which is located in the middle of Lofoten.

Leknes is the largest business center in Lofoten. The campsite has a very nice location with a port belonging to the cabins (there is no reception in the building).

A short drive to both the inner and outer Lofoten where the best fishing spots are.

If you want to rent a cabin in Lofoten, this is the right place.

It takes only 1 minute by boat to the fishing camp. So when you come back from the sea after fishing, you drive past the campsite where you fillet the fish and freeze it in the freezer. When you’re done, just transport the ship to the other side where you live.‍

Boat License

Please note that to rent a boat in Norway, you must either:

  • hold a valid boat operator’s license, or
  • have been born before January 1, 1980.

You must carry your boat operator’s license and a valid photo ID while operating the boat.
